About Substream

Substream was founded in November 2004, by Mikael Arthursson, Jonathan Karlsson and Håkan Ludvigson.

The company was launched within the creative industries incubator 'Brewhouse Innovation' in Gothenburg and the first signed band Auto-Auto had their debut "Sounds of a New Generator", released in May 2005. Since then, Substream has cooperated with different festivals such as Arvikafestivalen and Scandinavian Alternative Music Awards, had multiple Billboard hits and provided soundtracks for some of the world's biggest consumer brands from its group electronica, indie/pop and dance record labels.
